The place turned out to be good value in comparison to other hotels. Impeccably clean hotel, greatly enjoyed to be adjacent to Hakone, an awesome onsen and the local Shinto shrine thanks to beautiful and particularly good location. The food was great and there were plenty of dishes in the menu. The free parking was onsite, attentive service...

Location was convenient, near a train station and bus stop. The private onsen was a nice touch, and the traditional Japanese meals were good. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions.
The room was small and the bedding was uncomfortable. We were surprised by additional charges that were not clearly communicated beforehand.

the close proximity to a key location and the large rooms were also positive. One advantage we enjoyed was the peaceful sound of the river nearby, adding to a relaxing holiday atmosphere.
The hotel was quite dated and underwhelming for the price. the breakfast wasn't up to par and some areas of the hotel need renovation, such as the carpets and bathrooms.

We had an incredible time at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, nestled right next to a roaring river down the hill. It was so convenient for us to make excursions in the Hakone area. The service was top-notch, with room service and friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room amenities were fantastic, from the ironing facilities to the heating and air conditioning. We loved having a sitting area and terrace to relax on, and the free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a definite plus. The hotel also had a snack bar and a leisure spa & wellness center, where we enjoyed karaoke and indulged in the hot spring bath and open-air bath. we would highly recommend this place to friends for its incredible location, excellent service, and amazing amenities.
